Maggio Music Center was established in 1937 by its founder, musician John Maggio. John opened the music store in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York and it quickly became the most popular shop around for musical instruments and accessories. In 1969, John opened up another business, entrusting Maggio Music to his son, Michael. He took what his father taught him, and with perseverance and hard work, he carried on his father's legacy.

This family business continues to flourish, while maintaining it's high standard of excellence. Maggio Music Center now serves not only the New York area, but receives repeat customers from all over thanks to ebay and other online sales.
